Research & Development

Magle Group has a long history of CDMO business. It is on these foundations Magle Chemoswed and Magle Biopolymers has built their respective brands. 

However, the last few years our own DSM products have been put in the spotlight, and our R&D team is working hard to unlock the potential of what we are able to do with this amazing technology. Our team consists of several eager and innovative Development Chemists that are continuously experimenting and improving our products. 

About Magle Group

Magle AB (formed in 1995 as a pure development company) acquired Chemoswed AB (formed in 1944 as a manufacturing company) in 2016 before merging the companies in 2017 to form Magle Chemoswed. In 2019, Adroit Science AB was acquired to increase the development services segment. In 2021, PharmaCept GmbH was acquired as a first step to develop a sales and marketing organization for DSM products. Most recent to join the Magle Group is Magle Biopolymers - a CDMO part of the group focusing on Dextran technology.
